This is one of the first pictures I took during my trip to Iceland in the summer 2009. We arrived to the place called Landmnnalaugar approximately around lunchtime and as usual the weather has deteriorated very quickly. Once we got ready to observe the location and take some pictures it was raining quite heavily. At the beginning we were a little bit disappointed, but later on, we realized that Iceland is actually the place where you can take eye catching pictures in any weather condition.
To be honest, I was a bit lucky with this shot. On the way back to the campground we spotted this sole volcano with the lake, and at the end I was the only one who left our car and walk through the marches to the lake shore. The closer I got, the more attention I paid to the light reflected in hundreds of rainy puddles surrounding the lake.
