This year trip to Iceland was little bit different from my first visit in this beautiful country. The main difference lay in my personal pre-trip preparation stage. Unlike last year, I spend quite a lot of time in reading different kinds of books and internet forums. One of the tools I have started to use recently, is Google Earth, which proved to be very amazing and useful tool for easier planning of my photography trips. Thanks to it I actually found little area in the central-south Iceland called Vatnaöldur, which I would very loosely translate like country of thousands lakes and hills. Unfortunately due to bad weather we did not spend as much time as we would wanted, but even though we manage to get the feeling what this place is like and also took few hopefully interesting pictures. One thing I know for sure now, I will return to Vatnaöldur when I travel to Iceland next time. This place is simply so beautiful!!!
